Emma Wallace

PT, DPT

Emma is an Illinois native and University of Colorado Alumni. She gained her doctorate in physical therapy in 2017 and spent a season with Avalanche Physical Therapy working in Breckenridge with acute ski and snowboard injuries. Emma then continued her practice as a travel physical therapist, working in a variety of setting and specializing in Women’s/pelvic health physical therapy. Emma returned to Avalanche physical therapy in Frisco in 2019, specializing in orthopedic injuries and women’s health. 

Beyond Physical Therapy, Emma has a minor in modern dance and a history of teaching yoga. Emma has a love for movement and eye for movement efficiency. She believes in optimization of movement to help her patients return to their active lifestyle.

Emma is level one dry needling certified as well as certified in Women’s Health. 

Emma has taken a variety of courses specializing in Women’s Health to help serve this underserved population. Women’s health rehabilitation includes pre and post-partum women, urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, prolapse, pelvic girdle dysfunction and abdominal wall rehab. Most recently she he taken a course in Gynecologic Visceral Manipulation to better serve this population. 

Emma returned to Colorado because of her love for the mountains and nature. In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, snowboarding, backpacking, yoga and dancing.
