Avalanche is Reopening on Monday, Telehealth Still Available
We are happy to announce that Avalanche Physical Therapy will be reopening its Silverthorne and Frisco locations on Monday, April 6th. Due to the Breckenridge Recreation Center remaining closed, our Breckenridge location will not be reopening at this time. Breckenridge patients are welcome at our Frisco location, where they will be able to meet with their usual therapists.
Physical therapy after surgery or serious injury is crucial in proper recovery. It is our duty to continue providing our patients with the best care possible. We are offering flexibility and new extended hours based on need in order to space out appointments and reduce the number of individuals in the clinics as much as possible.
If you have any possible symptoms of COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment for a telehealth visit or wait 14 days after your symptoms have resided. COVID-19 symptoms include fever, coughing, shortness of breath, and loss of taste and smell. While these are the most common symptoms, several others are being reported. So, if you are experiencing any cold- or flu-like symptoms whatsoever, please, stay home.
We will be operating with an abundance of caution, including ensuring all staff have proper personal protective equipment. We will also be screening each patient at the door.
If you feel ill, or you don’t feel comfortable coming into the clinic for your appointment, we are still offering virtual telehealth visits for everyone. These digital sessions are customized for each patient and allow you to upgrade your program of home exercises and learn self-mobilization and proper stretching techniques. Most commercial insurances are covering these session.
Avalanche Physical Therapy is committed to providing quality physical therapy to the Summit County community. We are here for you when you need us.
