Our statement on operation & preparedness during the COVID-19 situation:
At Avalanche Physical Therapy, the health and safety of our patients, therapists, and staff are of the highest priority.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our Avalanche Physical Therapy Clinics in Frisco, Silverthorne, and Breckenridge due to reports of COVID-19 community spread. As of now, we plan to remain closed until March 30th – at which time we will reassess this ever-changing situation. If you have an appointment between now and then, please call us to reschedule.
Please be aware that as this ever-changing situation continues to evolve, we will be continuously reassessing the state of our operations and may make the decision to extend our closures if we determine doing so to be the best course of action. We will do everything in our power to keep you informed as we continue making decisions that affect all our patients.
The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment has strongly advised minimizing social contact as much as possible – especially within our mountain communities – amid the growing findings and concerns of COVID-19.
The CDPHE has recommended residents and visitors to stay home and maintain distance from others as much as possible. Due to the person-to-person and close contact nature of physical therapy, we have determined that closing our three locations is the right decision to make at this time.
We recognize that some of our patients who have recently undergone surgery or are recovering from traumatic injury will still need access to physical therapy to heal appropriately. We will have a therapist available via telephone to assist concerned patients with their PT needs during this difficult time.
You can contact our office by phone at 970-668-0888 or by email at AErickson@vsortho.com. We will respond as soon as possible.
